Trends
The Trends screen has three tabs: Medical, Fire and Police. The same information is on all screens but specific to that discipline. These areas give your Agency's protocol compliance, reviewed case percentage info and year/month averages at a glance. The graph screen that you see shows you a rolling year average of your agency's protocol compliance. It will automatically adjust itself as the months change. Below the graph screen there are four areas.
  • Case Status shows the number of cases reviewed or not reviewed, total cases, the percentage of cases to your call volume and when you last backed up AQUA. This figure is based on a rolling year.
  • Level Percentage of Reviewed Cases shows the percentage of reviewed cases you have for each Determinant Level. This figure is also based on a rolling year.
  • Year/Avg shows the average percentage for each of the reviewed areas: Case Entry, Chief Complaint, Key Questions, PAI/PDI, dispatch code and customer service. This is for a rolling year average.
  • Month Low/High/Avg is based on a rolling month. It is based on the same sections as the Year/Avg but is broken down in the low and high category by Chief Complaint number and percentage. It gives you an "at a glance" view of what cards have low scores (for each section) and which cards have high scores (for each section), then averages them by the sections.
Determinant Drift Report
Determinant Drift Report measures the accuracy of Determinant Levels.
  • The user doesn't have to reset the mandatory filters; the settings applied to the Case Evaluation Report will apply to this one.
  • All Determinants found in the green section are ideal, meaning that the call-taker and the reviewer agreed.
  • Determinants found in the pink section are considered a risk to the patient, meaning that the call-taker sent out a lower determinant than was appropriate. The patient's well-being is at risk.
  • Determinants found in the yellow section are considered a waste. This means that the Calltaker sent out a higher determinant than was appropriate. The extra resources needed for a higher determinant are wasted.
  • Anything found in the gray area is an unknown determinant.
  • Keep in mind that the determinants across are from the Calltaker and the determinants going down are from the reviewer.

Case Entry
There are two columns, the first column (Evaluation) has four titles Yes, No, Obvious and N/A with corresponding radio buttons. This column is used to evaluate if the question was asked. The second column is to determine if the question in the first column was verified or asked correctly. It also has four titles which are Yes, No, Obvious, and Insignificant. The Insignificant column is used when a caller makes a slight error that doesn't change the nature of the question.

QI Summary Report
QI Summary is the most detailed reports, showing the agency as a whole.

Distribution shows the distribution of determinants in percentages.
  • Gives the percentages of Reviewed Cases.
  • Gives the percentages of Total Cases.

In Statistics, all Chief Complaints are broken down individually and scored per segment.
  • This shows the compliance levels achieved in each section of each Chief Compliant and the total average score by center.
  • This also shows possible areas for improvement.
